It’s already Week 9, and I’m not sure how to feel about it. I never want football to end. But the walls are slowly closing in on my Prime Picks record. I’m sitting at 27–30 through eight weeks, and I really need to ramp it up if I want to finish anywhere near a 60–70% win rate.
It’s time to lock in and get back to my sicko ways—nailing every single ridiculous pick I make. I’d love to say it starts this week, but honestly, I hate the board (what else is new?). I hate my picks, I hate everything about the lines. Still, I went with my gut and leaned into those mid-to-late season vibes from all the teams.
My alma mater, Texas State, is in shambles after finally getting some hype for the first time ever. So yeah, I need these Prime Picks to hit. I need something to bring me back. I need these wins.
