Bluntly put, Week 7 fucked me. I went 1–4 and wasn’t even close on the four losses. I got absolutely embarrassed by the board, and it stripped me of any confidence I’ve ever had. I don’t know this sport. I don’t know what football is. I don’t know what I’m watching week in and week out.
I’m in a slump and officially negative on the year with a total record of 22–24—right at average. But I don’t want to be average. I don’t want to be below average. I am the college football GOAT, and if I’m not hitting 80%, I’m a dunce.
I’ve been deep-diving into games, doing extensive research, and overthinking everything. I’m trying to pull a fast one on people. I’m not using common sense. I’m not trusting my gut. That changes today.
I’m listing all my bets—and I’ve got a lot this week. I don’t need to explain why I’m picking these. Just know: they’re all guarantees. This is the week it all turns around.
Week 8 Prime Picks:
Louisville @ #2 Miami – LOU +13.5
Nebraska @ Minnesota – OVER 46.5
Arizona @ Houston – OVER 45.5
UNLV @ Boise State – UNLV +12.5
Northern Illinois @ Ohio – NIU +10.5
Mississippi State @ Florida – MSST +9.5
Pitt @ Syracuse – SYR +10.5
#16 Missouri @ Auburn – OVER 43.5
Florida State @ Stanford – STAN +18.5
Yeah, never mind—I hate all my picks. Too many overs in the 40s. I hate it all. This week won’t turn it around. It’ll get worse.
Fuck it. I’ll sit on the couch and pout with every loss. Maybe my alma mater, Texas State, will lift my spirits with a win this week (I’m so fucked).
Have a great weekend, people. Have some fun and watch some ball!
